carrot launch

how simple is it to share your console with someone else? Chances are, if you visit carrot.stretch.wtf, you’ll be greeted with a login screen or an error. That’s because it’s a simple private tty server that I use to share my console with others and usually isn’t even online. It’s powered by ttyd.
I’ve frequently encountered issues where I needed help with something and I just wished I could hand my WSL console to someone else. This was before I discovered ttyd. Ttyd is a simple terminal sharing server that allows you to share your console with others. It’s very simple to use. Then, I harnessed the power of Cloudflare Tunnels to make it accessible from my domain. Tunnels is awesome because it allows you to expose a local server to the internet without port forwarding and without exposing your IP. You can even use it without an account (obviously, this has some downsides).
To conclude, Carrot is a simple private tty server I use to share my console with others. Because it’s simply an instance of ttyd, it’s not listed on the projects page.
